You give your all to your baby. We give our all to you.
We do everything with the heart of a mother.
Dr. Courtney Livaudais,
OTD, OTR/L, IBCLC
Being a parent is challenging, but getting the care you and your baby need shouldn’t be. At Triple Moon OT & Lactation, I believe healthcare should be convenient and accessible, allowing you to focus on what truly matters. Unfortunately, many healthcare models in the United States treat parents and babies as separate entities, overlooking the powerful bond that connects you both. My approach recognizes this unique relationship, helping you heal, grow, and thrive together.
I hold a doctorate in occupational therapy and am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to supporting families during pregnancy, postpartum, and early infancy. My expertise includes addressing challenges with breast/chest/body feeding, bottle feeding, tongue ties, supply issues, and navigating the complex journey of parenthood. I aim to empower you to nourish your baby in a way that best suits your family’s needs.
As a mother, I experienced firsthand the gaps in maternal and postpartum care within the U.S. healthcare system. I faced difficulties with breastfeeding, developed new aches and pains, and felt a profound shift in my identity. Finding providers who could address these interconnected challenges was tough. My goal is to bridge the gap between perinatal and pediatric care, supporting you through this transition with compassion and exceptionally holistic care.
I’m a native Pacific-Northwesterner and consider it an honor to support families within this community. When I’m not OT’ing, you can find me out and about in Portland with my partner, two young children, and beloved black lab, Yazzy.
My Approach
At Triple Moon OT & Lactation, I believe that caring for mothers and babies goes beyond medical expertise—it’s about connection and support that is as unique as you and your baby. My mission is to empower families through every stage of your journey, from pregnancy to baby’s first year, with tailored support and expert guidance to help you thrive. I understand that the experience of parenthood is not only transformative but also deeply personal.
As a dually-trained doctor of occupational therapy and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, I specialize in holistic feeding, newborn care, developmental guidance, and perinatal care from conception to postpartum. Whether breast or bottle, breastmilk or formula, your journey deserves to be celebrated and supported. As a certified Perinatal Mental Health specialist, I also prioritize how the sometimes challenging journey of motherhood affects your mind, body and spirit. Taking a holistic approach means I address all aspects of your life that contribute to you and your baby’s health. From helping you feel comfortable and prepared in pregnancy, confident and strong in postpartum, or able to uniquely care for your baby when the noise of Dr. Google gets overwhelming, I’m here to figure it all out with you. I am committed to honoring each family's unique journey —and when something isn’t working for you or your family, I will support you in making changes that do.
Rooted in the understanding that no two motherhood journeys are the same, I honor and celebrate the individuality of each family I serve. I’m here to help you thrive—because every family deserves exceptional, compassionate care that puts your needs first.
